As Commercial Director Spain, you will lead the commercial organization across all direct and indirect sales channels in the Spanish market. You will drive brand and business growth by expanding selective distribution, building direct sales to healthcare professionals, and accelerating digital performance.

We are looking for an ambitious, entrepreneurial, and results-driven leader who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach. You inspire teams, build strong relationships, and deliver measurable business results.

You report to the Head of Spain and collaborate closely with local Marketing, Back Office, and HQ teams in Product, Brand & Digital, and Finance. You manage a motivated team of six sales professionals.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a commercial strategy to position Bonusan as the preferred premium brand for selective distribution partners, pharmacies, wholesalers, HCPs, and professional associations.
  • Drive growth through three pillars:
    1. Expansion in (r)etail, pharmacies, and wholesalers.
    2. Growth of direct sales to HCPs and patients via digital platforms (website, Bonusan Order Service, affiliates).
    3. Strengthening and developing the sales team.
  • Translate strategy into annual business plans, budgets, and KPIs, ensuring targets are met.
  • Manage key accounts and expand Bonusan’s nationwide presence within the Selective Distribution Network.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, distributors, and educators.
  • Identify profitable new distribution opportunities and stay ahead of market trends and competition.
  • Lead, coach, and grow a team of six sales professionals, fostering high performance and engagement.
  • Provide in-field coaching and manage key clients directly.
  • Ensure close collaboration with local teams for operational excellence and with HQ teams for alignment on brand, product, and digital strategy.
  • Activate the brand through impactful sales promotions and marketing campaigns in collaboration with local and HQ teams.
  • Monitor monthly sales results, analyze performance, and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Represent Bonusan at local and international trade events.
  • At least 10 years of sales experience with premium products in Spain, ideally in professional supplements, OTC health, or consumer goods.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role with a proven track record in managing high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare professionals’ and consumers’ needs.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical mindset.
  • Entrepreneurial, results-oriented, and decisive.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and stakeholder management.
  • Hands-on, pragmatic, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (native or near-native).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a commercial field (e.g., Economics, Business Administration, or equivalent).
  • A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • You live in the area of Madrid

The heart of Bonusan is still located where it all began: in Numansdorp. This is where our production facility and headquarters are based. This role is part of our Spanish team in Spain, with a preferred location in the Madrid area.
